Best Rose ever from some of the best grapes they farm - almost like a red - look at the color! Lots of umpf! Orange 🍊 ish nose. Darker fruit mostly with dollop of wild Strawberries and plenty of Bing cherries yet still tart. Harribo bears - the red ones! Dangerously drinkable. Unbeatable if you like E&M’s style. Tasted the E&M line up at the winery. It was mind blowing!!!!!🤯. These are the best wines they ever made. Both the reds and the whites were great from top to bottom. Kirsch Sauerkirsche, red currant, tart.

Super juicy. Pinot Grigio. Clean and crisp not our Kombucha type - skin contact! Tannic and quite tart but man is this great stuff. Small pears the ones which used to grow on old forgotten trees. A 💤 giant. One barrel made. Herbaceous nose. Very powerful and that at 12%!!! Coiled and ready to pounce in 10 years from now - for expert tasters only. Not drinkable nor try-able or ready for the classic consumer. Difficult to taste and evaluate. A collectors wine. Intoxicating intense cherry nose. Super fine morello cherries in the glass, cherry aux de vie and yes almonds, very astringent (way too young) with incredible fine tannins. Lime, black tea and barely noticeable thyme. — 3 days ago
A major leap here. Clean and crisp. Some skin contact. But this is not your average Orange wine. Filtered lightly. No sediment at all! Apricot, mandarine, plenty of acid, big and broad with a lot of body. A little more rustic then their new top of the line whites with new labels. — 2 days ago
E&M’s new top whites (with new labels) are pure genius - Cellar tasting 05/15/2024. This is skin contact Pinot Gris from old vines. Orange but clean and filtered no funk at all. This is simply the best I ever had. Ridiculous pretty amber color, quince jam, tart apricot, port wine and stone fruits. I am addicted. Florian Moll is ‘the man’. Dry. Went back to the Alte Wache in Freiburg i. Breisgau. What a City! Had this with a Matjeshering Sandwich. Food made the difference - this is a match in heaven. Perfect with salty oily fish. I always pair Matjes herring or any pickled version with Riesling. Classic Kabinett, mandarine, faint diesel really just a touch, surprisingly some tannins - smidgen tart. Lemon 🍋. — 4 days ago
