Quite lush for a pinot (at least the ones I drink)… crayon, clay, blackberry, orange peel, baking spices like clove and cinnamon … a little herbaceous branch … if I didn’t know better I’d say this was a Rioja. Honestly a little shocked. Great deal at TJ’s. 92?
NEED TO GET DELECTABLE TO ADD A NEW ENTRY FOR THIS LOT #, this listing isn’t the right one. — 8 days ago
Tastes like smoke and moldy cheese (earth/chlorine). Good balancing acidity - pomegranate. It’s pretty decent but smoke is not my preferred flavor profile in wine. Would be excellent with soft moldy cheese — or smoked cheese! 87. — 15 days ago
Balsamic, plum, red fruits — going from memory. Not my preferred style, but well made. 89 to me, 90 for others. — 3 days ago
Pomegranate, cassis, bitter/unsweetened chocolate, forest floor, graphite, ash (but not smoke), dried strawberry, clay dust — there’s a little blueberry in there too. Elegant and subtle with many flavors I can’t pinpoint. Could age a long while. Wine with a capital “W.” 94…others with better palates would probably go higher. — 6 days ago
Black raspberry, blackberry, the classic Sant Emilion pine — smooth, but with a good balancing acidity. Medium weight. Love it! — 12 days ago
NOSE: cassis, baking chocolate, oregano and pine, a little mint … dandelion? Not sumptuous, but inviting.
TASTE: baking chocolate and clove … dry currant…earth...pine…cassis…PINE. Could age a long while yet, but delicious now and true to style. 93. — 19 days ago
NOSE: Saline, lemon, honeysuckle, a very slight sour-yeasty-fermented smell.
TASTE: smooth, a little creamy, clear minerals, citrus fruits (all of them — lemon and grapefruit mostly, but some lime), fine bubbles, nice bracing acidity — green apple. Really good! 92. — 6 days ago
NOSE: raspberry leaf, cherry, crayola …chlorophyll…cocoa.
TASTE: silky, bitter chocolate, tobacco, earth, savoury spice, cinnamon — fruit is black cherry and a little currant — some vanilla/banana also. Minerals. Slightly less acidity than I expected for a Brunello (though not flabby at all) — silky. Surprisingly excellent, TJ’s is on a roll — superb deal. 93. — 7 days ago
NOSE:leather, cola, firewood, nuts, chocolate, allspice.
TASTE: fairly light — ash, dry cherry, good acid - SPICY baking spice, oregano. Bitter finish. Good, but too much smoke/ash for me. 89. — 13 days ago

NOSE: Cassis, plum, mulberry, leather, blueberry, slate, dandelion, chicory, earth, iron, tea, wet veggies. COMPLEX.
TASTE: I love it, though it’s a bit bitter. Lighter than the nose suggests. Dried fruit (blackberry, strawberry, plum, cassis), good acidity. Tea-like tannins, complex herbs (can’t identify them), furry critter, blood. For others, 93 — for me, 94. — 21 hours ago
